Originally from the United States, Todd has 18 years of experience as a pilot and has participated in 18 editions of the festival. He has flown in Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, and Canada.

His passion for hot air ballooning began when he was young, chasing balloons on his bike during the early years of the Adirondack Balloon Festival. A few years after graduating from SUNY Oswego, he decided to follow his ballooning dreams and founded SunKiss Ballooning.
