You could win

Run the chance to win an exclusive access to a "meet and greet" with the artist of your choice from the program of the International Hot Air Balloon Festival of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (the "Festival"), thanks to Loto-Québec.

An exclusive meeting at a "meet and greet" with the artist of your choice from among the following artists (the list is subject to change without notice): Half Moon Run, Matt Lang, Kaïn, Ariane Moffat, Fredz, Trudy, Vulgaires Machins, Classe Moyenne, Émile Bilodeau, Ariane Roy or Sarahmée.

Contest rules

The contest closes on August 3, 2026 at 11:59 PM. Any entries received after this date and time will be automatically rejected.

This contest is open to all individuals residing in Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry.

The value of the prize, its exact form (number of companions, duration, location) as well as the date and time of the "meet and greet" will be determined by the Organiser in collaboration with the artist concerned and communicated to the winner. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash, in whole or in part, against any other thing.

Certain conditions may apply to the "meet and greet" event, notably scheduling, security or artist availability requirements. The Organiser cannot guarantee the "meet and greet" with the artist initially chosen if the latter becomes unavailable for reasons beyond its control; a replacement artist of comparable value may then be proposed.

How to enter

1. Buy a AVANT-SCÈNE MET day ticket or an add-on AVANT-SCÈNE MET access for your day ticket or passport;
2. Indicate in the comments, on the official publication of the contest on the Facebook or Instagram pages, the name of the artist you wish to meet;
3. Identify three (3) friends with whom you would like to have this experience in the same comment.Only one entry per person will be considered, regardless of the number of comments or tickets purchased. Any entry that is incomplete, illegible or does not comply with these terms will be automatically rejected.This contest is not sponsored, administered or associated with Meta/Facebook, Instagram or any other social media platform. Information provided by participants is transmitted to the Organizer and not to social media platforms.

Draw

From all eligible entries received during the contest period, winner(s) will be randomly selected within days of the end of the contest.

The winner(s) will be contacted by private message on the platform (Facebook or Instagram) where they submitted their entry, and/or by email, within a reasonable period of time following the draw.

To validate their participation, the only information that will be requested from the winner is their Ticketmaster order number, to be sent by email to festival@montgolfieres.com in order to confirm the eligibility of the winner(s) for the contest.

If a winner does not respond within 2 days of sending the message, the festival reserves the right to proceed with a new draw in order to select another winner.

Warning - fraud

No banking information will ever be required to claim your prize.

The winner will only be contacted by a member of our team, by private message on our official pages or by email.

Image rights and use of personal information

By accepting the prize, the winner authorizes the Organizer and the Sponsor to use his or her name, photograph or any image of him or her taken as part of the "meet and greet" for advertising or promotional purposes free of charge, without further compensation.

Personal information collected in connection with this contest will only be used for the purpose of administering it and will not be disclosed to third parties without consent, subject to these terms.

Limitation of liability

By participating in this contest, each person releases the Organizer, the Sponsor, their agencies and their respective representatives from any liability for damages, loss or injury resulting from participation in the contest or acceptance and use of the prize.

Modification and cancellation

The Organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend or cancel this contest, in whole or in part, in the event of an event beyond its control affecting the administration, security or proper conduct of the contest, without notice.

Participation in this contest implies full and unreserved acceptance of these rules.

How to enter

Buy a day ticket at our box office before 11:59 PM on July 5, 2026 and you will be automatically entered in the contest.

Do you already have an eligible day ticket? Good news: you are already registered for the contest!

Draw

The draw will take place after the end of the contest and the winner will be contacted by email during the week of July 6, 2026.

If there is no response within five (5) days of the email being sent, the organization reserves the right to conduct a new draw to determine another winner.

Only one (1) winner will be selected.
