About the pilot
Coming from the United States, Joel has over 25 years of experience as a pilot and has participated in more than 10 editions of the festival. He has flown in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and New Zealand. His passion for ballooning comes from his family heritage: as a second-generation hot air balloon pilot, he has loved the sport since childhood.

David’s been flying hot air balloons since 1979 and has over 45 years experience. He has flown all over the world, Some of the place's He has flown are the United States, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand and Europe.
He started attending the Saint Jean sur Richelieu balloon Festival in 1985 and the international balloon festival of st Jean sur Richelieu remains one of his favorite balloon festivals.
