General terms
No refunds or exchanges on International Balloon Festival products under any circumstances.
No refunds or exchanges in the event of artist changes, postponement, or cancellation of a performance.
No refunds in the event of a balloon launch cancellation due to adverse weather conditions.
By purchasing an admission ticket or passport to the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu International Balloon Festival, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Capture and distribution of your image
By purchasing admission or entering the Festival site, you acknowledge the public nature of the event and expressly waive any related claims.
You grant the International Balloon Festival, as well as its suppliers and partners, the right to use your name, image, voice, likeness, actions, statements, and representations captured in audio, video, or photographic format, whether live or recorded, during the event.
Such use may be made for any purpose, including but not limited to reproduction, broadcasting, publication, adaptation, modification, and communication to the public for promotional, advertising, or commercial purposes, on any media now known or later developed, before, during, or after the event, without further authorization or compensation to you or any person acting on your behalf.
Pricing
All prices displayed on our Site are in Canadian dollars (CAD).
Ticket acquisition
The maximum quantity per product is limited to eight (8) per transaction.
Tickets are issued electronically for environmental reasons. If you request physical tickets, additional mailing fees will apply and tickets will be sent by mail.
To complete a transaction on our website https://www.montgolfieres.com/en/ticket-office, you must select your desired tickets and/or passports. You will then be redirected to Ticketmaster’s website.
To finalize your purchase, you must log into your Ticketmaster account or create one if you do not already have one.
If you cannot find your electronic tickets after purchase, please check your junk/spam folder.
Reproduction or modification of products
Reproduction and modification of the various products sold by the Festival are strictly forbidden. Anyone found to have modified or reproduced any of the International's products will be refused access to the Festival for the duration of the event. In such a case, the International reserves the right to seize and cancel the product, the related order and any other purchase/reservation made by the person charged with the offence or the purchaser of the product concerned.
Credit and debit card security policy (Interac)
"If you do not comply with the laws in force concerning your transactions, you will not be able to hold us responsible. We may provide to law enforcement the information you have provided to us regarding your transactions in order to assist you in any investigation or prosecution on your part.
If we are unable to verify or authenticate the information or tickets you have provided during a registration, order, purchase, ticketing, sales, authentication, delivery, payment or deposit process, or any other process, or if we are no longer able to verify or authorize your credit card or bank account information, your tickets may be cancelled, we may refuse to honor all pending and future ticket purchases made with such credit card or bank accounts or through any online account associated with such credit cards or bank accounts.
This license does not affect the ownership of your User Content, including the right to grant further licenses of your User Content, unless it conflicts with these Terms. We are not obligated to display, present or otherwise use the User Content, or specify the origin of your User Content. You will not bring or authorize any claim against us, asserting that our use of your user content infringes any of your rights.”

Purchase from a third party
Tickets obtained online from unauthorized sources and not directly from our Site or Ticketmaster's Site, may be lost, stolen and counterfeited and, if so, are invalid. In addition, neither we nor Ticketmaster guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased from unauthorized third party resellers (such as brokers or individuals), we recommend that you purchase tickets directly through Ticketmaster. Neither Hot Air Balloon International nor Ticketmaster will be held responsible for any transaction made other than on the latter's platform.
"Illegal resale (or attempted illegal resale) of tickets, including, but not limited to, counterfeiting or copying of tickets, is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation. Certain maximum resale premiums and restrictions may apply in some states, and we cannot be required to provide legal advice regarding resale or ticket pricing. You are responsible for complying with all applicable ticket resale laws. In addition, we reserve the right to restrict or deny ticket purchasing privileges to anyone we determine is, or has been, in violation of our policies. Since we do not guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased from unauthorized third-party resellers (such as brokers or individuals), we recommend that you purchase tickets directly through us, through authorized partners or from the venue box office to guarantee ticket authenticity. Tickets may not be used for advertising, promotions, competitions or prize draws, unless expressly authorized by us in writing." - Ticketmaster

Order confirmation
Make sure that your order includes exactly the desired products and the quantity before confirming everything. The buyer is responsible for properly checking their order before confirmation. No refund or exchange on the products of the International de montgolfières under any conditions.
After completing your purchase, you will view your invoice on the screen and you will receive it by email. If you do not receive it (on screen or by email) after submitting the payment information, if you receive an error message or if there is a service interruption at the time of the transaction, you are responsible for contacting Ticketmaster directly, in order to ensure that your order has been processed. If you do not receive a confirmation, the Festival cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions in processing your order. No fault or liability can be attributed to the Festival in this case.
Transfer
Tickets can be transferred as many times as desired.
However, once the transfer is accepted by the recipient, a new barcode is assigned to them and becomes the only valid one for entry. The ticket in the sender’s account is then automatically invalid.
Product-specific clauses
Parking
If you leave the parking lot with your vehicle, you will have to pay again for the parking when you return there. No readmission possible.
For integrated passport holders, note that the integrated parking ticket is valid once a day and is not unlimited access to parking.
Product
Each product, with the exception of the integrated passport, sold by the International de montgolfières is available in electronic format. If you prefer a physical ticket, you will need to check the postal delivery box and an additional postage fee will be added at the end of your transaction. Postal deliveries will be made from the month of May.
The International de montgolfières is not responsible in case of a postal service strike. However, you will have the opportunity to pick up your passport at the main ticket office during the festival.
Festival-goers must receive a stamp at the exit of the site if they wish to return during the day. As soon as they return on site, they must present their stamp in order to have access again to the festival site. We reserve the right to ask for your ticket or passport of the day, make sure you have it at all times.
Product descriptions
7-Day Passeport 13 years and over
The passport only gives access to the Festival site for 7 days for people aged 13 and over.
7-Day Passepor 5 to 12 years
The passport only gives access to the Festival site for 7 days for people aged 5 to 12 years. Proof of age may be required. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Integrated passport 13 and over
The passport gives access to the Festival site, rides and parking for 7 days for people aged 13 and over.
Integrated passport 5 to 12
The passport gives access to the Festival site and rides for 7 days for people aged 5 to 12. Proof of age may be required. Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Daily ticket
Each daily ticket purchased only gives access to the site on the day mentioned on the digital ticket. It is your responsibility to check the schedules, on the official website of the International Balloon Festival, which may be different each day as well as the exclusions of the different products.
La Totale ticket
Each TOTAL ticket purchased gives access to the site, the shows, most activities and the terrace only on the date mentioned on the digital ticket. It is your responsibility to check the schedules, on the official website of the International de montgolfières, which may be different each day as well as the exclusions of the different products.
Terrace access - Addition for passeport only
Each purchased terrace access ticket only gives access to THE TERRACE and not to the site. You must purchase a passport in order to access the site. The Terrace access ticket gives access only to the date mentioned on the digital ticket. It is your responsibility to check the schedules on the website of the International de montgolfières which may be different each day as well as the exclusions of the different products.
Hot-air balloon flight
The morning balloon flight tickets as well as the evening flight tickets OUTSIDE FESTIVAL only give access to ONE HOT AIR BALLOON FLIGHT, depending on the chosen date.
Arrival time at the flight kiosk = 4h45 AM
Festival Evening Hot Air Balloon Tickets include general admission admission to the site with an average value of $50, depending on the chosen date. Parking is at your expense. Note that the entry fee of $50 is in no way refundable in case of flight cancellation.
Arrival time at the flight kiosk = 16:45 PM
It is your responsibility to check the schedules on the International de montgolfières website, which may be different each day. No refund will be given in case of delay.
If you have booked a hot air balloon flight, our team will send you a reminder email in the days before your flight and the instructions to follow.
If, however, a flight is to be cancelled for any reason, the staff in place will inform you of the procedure to follow.

Online payment methods
It should be noted that no cash will be accepted on the site. Major credit cards are accepted as well as debit cards.
All sales of the International de montgolfières products are made through the Ticketmaster platform or directly on site during the festival and are final. It is your responsibility to check your order and ensure that you have the type of product as well as the quantity you desire before confirming your order.
All programming elements planned for the Festival, including hot air balloon flights and shows, are subject to change, delay or cancellation without notice.
If you cannot attend the event, we will not issue any refund. Plan for proper attire according to the weather of the day. However, you can transfer your ticket to a third party.
Once the tickets are activated, they cannot be refunded.
If an event is cancelled, postponed, rescheduled or moved, and we approve refunds, only the original purchaser, i.e. the person who purchased the tickets in question directly on the Ticketmaster website, will receive any available refund (or may take advantage of an optional credit offer, if applicable), and no further action is required on the part of the recipient of the transferred tickets. Refunds are made via the Ticketmaster app or website.
For postponed or moved events, the transferees of the transferred tickets shall transfer the tickets to the original purchaser so that the original purchaser may take advantage of any available refunds and/or credit options.
Please note that the recipients of the transferred tickets are not eligible for any refund or credit available, as he did not purchase the tickets directly from the Ticketmaster website.
The International may change its exchange and refund policies at any time, in its sole and exclusive discretion. If you need support, we invite you to contact customer service at festival@montgolfieres.com.
Admission
Anyone over the age of 5 must have their own ticket to enter the Festival site. Children aged 4 and under have free access to the festival site.
All children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Children 12 and under must still provide proof of age.
Accessibility
By submitting their access card (e.g.: CAL), each person in a wheelchair will have the right to one (1) companion whose access to the site is free. In addition, each person in a wheelchair and their attendant have access to the dedicated platform near the main stage.

Website terms of use
When you visit the website (hereinafter the "site") of the International de montgolfières de Saint-Jean-Sur-Richelieu (hereinafter "the International", "Festival", "we", "us" and "our"), you agree to adhere to the terms of use as well as the laws and regulations in force in Quebec.
Conversely, if you do not comply with all the terms of use of the Site, you risk losing access to it. The International may, however, modify its terms of use at any time without notice. Any service, notification or institution of any legal proceeding shall be made in the judicial district of Iberville, province of Quebec.
Disclaimer
The International cannot guarantee that its Site is error-free, or secure from an interruption, computer attack, service failure, or momentary shutdown, whether it originates from the Site itself or from a third party, nor the obtaining of all the results expected by its research or the use of its content or related links. The Site and its content are offered as is. The International cannot be held liable for any type of direct or indirect damage caused by the use of its Site. The Festival does not guarantee any specific result for the use of the online shopping system.
All pass holders (day tickets and passports) acknowledge and accept the risks involved in participating in the various activities programmed by the International. They assume full responsibility for the risks that may arise from the activities and waive any claim for loss and physical or material damage resulting from certain causes suffered by the holders, before, during, or after the event. Anyone who does not comply with all the regulations or directives will be obliged to leave the event venue, without refund. In addition, it may be held liable for losses and damages resulting therefrom.
Personal items: (lost, stolen or broken)
In no case, we can be held responsible in case of lost, stolen or broken personal item.
During the Festival, you can go to Customer Service, lost items will be found there. After the Festival, you can present yourself at the office of the International de montgolfières, the lost objects will be kept for a period of one month.
