With 20 years of experience as a pilot, Sébastien has participated in 19 editions of the festival and flown across Canada (Alberta, Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick), the United States, Spain, Argentina, Hungary and France. He won the Canadian Championship title in 2022 and took second place in 2024, while setting a distance and duration record in the AX-07 category.

Among his notable achievements, he crossed the Andes in a hot air balloon at 200 km/h.

A few anecdotes:

  1. He once had to exit a field by rowboat.
  2. A farmer welcomed him wearing only a t-shirt.
  3. He experienced a marriage proposal rejected during a flight!


His passion dates back to a very young age: "I must have it in my genes somewhere."
