A hot air balloon pilot for 30 years, he has accumulated over 1,000 free flight hours and has been participating in the festival for 36 years. Over the years, he has flown in several countries, including France, the United States, and the Dominican Republic.

One of his notable achievements is completing an 11-hour tethered flight in Nunavut. His passion for ballooning began at his very first festival in 1990, and he has also taken part in several television and music video productions.
