About

TikTok loves them, Instagram follows their every move, and streaming platforms are on fire from how often they’re played: 8.42 million streams in just a few months. The musical collective Classe moyenne is the sensation of the moment—a rare kind of phenomenon.

The spark started in a basement near La Prairie, where five friends began writing songs inspired by their everyday lives—songs that reflect the reality of people in their thirties, but that everyone can relate to.

“We call ourselves Classe moyenne—Les Colocs was already taken,” they write, and the charm works instantly. And when they add, “We wanted to go to university, but we all ended up at Benji’s—now that’s what you call the school of life,” you can’t help but want more.

They’re called Classe moyenne, but they’re also Benjamin Nadeau (a producer and director who has worked with Marc Dupré, William Cloutier, Ludovick Bourgeois, Dee Holt, and Mc12), Gabriel Fredette, Justin Roy, Phil Rxcket, and Zach Chico. Friends who gathered in Benjamin’s basement, wrote a song that quickly went viral, then thirteen more since—and will keep writing because they’re simply having fun. And people love it. A lot.

Don’t look for rules or formulas—there aren’t any with Classe moyenne. There’s only freedom, fun, positivity, and one big party. And for you, a boat you don’t want to miss—because it doesn’t come around very often.
