Preparing for your hot air balloon flight

To be perfectly prepared for your flight this summer, here are some practical tips to help you enjoy this magical experience with peace of mind, as if you were already up in the air !

Assignment

Before your flight day, you will receive an email with a form to fill out, requesting information about the passengers, such as weight, spoken language, and age. These details are essential for assigning you to a hot air balloon.

Please note that groups of more than 4 people will be divided into smaller groups across multiple balloons.

Upon arrival

To check in, you must present a valid ID and your flight confirmation email, either printed or downloaded on your phone. Afterward, you will receive your boarding pass and be asked to sign a liability waiver.

Before the flight

Your pilot will come meet you in the launch area. Stay alert and follow the pilot’s instructions. If you’d like, you can even help inflate the hot air balloon!

If the takeoff occurs in a nearby park, you will be transported there with the pilot and their chase crew.

After the flight

During landing, expect an impact similar to jumping from the height of a kitchen chair.

Once again, follow your pilot’s instructions carefully. After the balloon envelope and equipment are packed, the chase crew will bring you back to the festival grounds.

Cancellation

In case of cancellation, you must present yourself in person on the same day to reschedule your flight or request a refund at the passenger booth. Please note that we do not accept refund or rescheduling requests by phone or email.

Please note that rescheduling is only available for the 2025 edition. If no flights are available, you will receive a refund.

Refunds will only be issued upon presentation of the credit card used during the original transaction.
