Warehouse manager

Your mission

Your role

Reporting to the Director of Operations and Logistics, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for the management, organization, and maintenance of all festival event equipment. They ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse, track inventory, handle equipment logistics before, during, and after the event, and contribute to the preparation and assembly of items needed for the successful execution of the festival. This person plays a key role in site preparation and in supporting production and setup teams.

Your responsabilities

What you’ll do

Outside the Festival (Planning and Maintenance)

  • Plan daily production and maintenance activities
  • Supervise and/or perform hands-on work on structures and equipment (carpentry, painting, various repairs)
  • Manage inventory, tools, and machinery
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and functional workshop
  • Prepare installation plans and update tracking tools

During the Festival (Setup, Operations, and Teardown)

  • Supervise site setup and teardown
  • Lead production teams and on-site vendors
  • Ensure site compliance and safety
  • Support internal logistics (deliveries, vehicles, machinery)
  • Perform urgent repairs and technical adjustments on-site
  • Maintain constant communication with the Coordinator and management

Expectations

What we’re looking for

Requirements:

  • Experience in warehouse management, logistics, or equipment coordination
  • Physical ability for handling and setup tasks
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and autonomy
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory tracking)

Assets / Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a festival or large-scale event
  • Knowledge of safety standards for storage and material handling
  • Ability to repair and maintain equipment or temporary structures
  • Training in occupational health and safety (an asset)
  • Valid driver’s license (Class 5); forklift or light machinery experience
