Your role

Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Clerk plays an active role in supporting the preparation, setup, and smooth execution of operations related to the International Balloon Festival of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. In this position, the individual performs a variety of manual and technical tasks, including carpentry, painting, and equipment handling, based on operational needs. They contribute to the installation and dismantling of indoor and outdoor sites, including fencing and temporary structures, while ensuring the maintenance of workspaces. Working closely with on-site teams, they help meet operational timelines, identify potential improvements, and suggest corrective measures when needed. They also support the overall efficiency of operations throughout setup, event delivery, and teardown phases, while adhering to all health and safety standards. Additional related tasks may be assigned to support operations as required.

Your responsabilities

What you’ll do

  • Perform carpentry, painting, transport tasks according to the projects assigned on a daily basis;
  • Participate in the assembly of indoor and outdoor sites, fences and structures;
  • Maintain indoor and outdoor spaces;
  • Identify and suggest corrective measures to be taken if necessary;
  • Collaborate with his daily colleagues and maneuver;
  • Respect the supervisor’s operational schedules and deadlines;
  • Participate in the smooth running of operations during the assembly, dissemination and dismantling of sites, projects and events;
  • Respect the health and safety program of the International de montgolfières de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu;
  • Carry out any other task or project that his manager entrusts to him.
